How To: Roasted Red Peppers

Place the pepper directly on the gas flame of your stove.  Keep rotating with tongs until it is completely charred on all sides.


Place in a paper bag and roll up.  Allow to steam for a few minutes.


When the pepper is cool enough to handle.  Remove skin while rinsing your hand under running water to remove the pepper skin from your hand.  Do NOT rinse the pepper under water.   

Remove the core, seeds and then chop.
