Okay, so this isn't a photo of his collection, but it's just as impressive...
...and it is getting alarming large.
Recently I was alarmed again (and secretly in awe) when he was able to identify the beer I was drinking by seeing it in a glass.
Later I found out that he saw the bottle cap in the kitchen and was just trying to impress me.
((Phew))
This leads me to a confession....
As some of you know, I am a beer snob.
I have only ever drank "good" beer.
I have never lowered my standards....
.... until a few weeks ago.
Miller was sponsoring a free concert.
Free concert? Great!
What's the catch you say?
They only sell Miller products. (Bad Miller products.)
My hands were tied. A pitcher of Miller High Life was ordered for three.
We drank.
I gagged.
(Holding your breath during every sip is probably a bad sign.)
We can't all be beer snobs. I used to feel bad about this....
.... but no longer.
You can have your Miller High Life.
I'll stick with my microbrew, craft beer...
....thank you.
I am Mama J, and I am a beer snob
Love this! And can totally relate on a yarn level! :) A gal from church asked me to make her daughter a poncho and then proceeded to hand me crap, crap, crappy yarn from JoAnn's to make it with. I used it, but my hands hurt with every stitch-truly. Never again, if I have my way. :) I am the Queen, and I am a yarn snob. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, I saw a pic of the bottle caps and it reminded me of the time when I was about five or six and for some reason my mom was involved in a project collecting bottle caps. I had a good time sorting them, making designs, I don't know they were just fun.
ReplyDeleteThen I saw I have something in common with you, I like good beer. I can't say I'm a beer snob I drink some mediocre beer, but I really like the good stuff. I also make beer. I just realized this is an older post, oh well maybe you look at from time to time.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. :) My son just loves all the different pictures he can collect on the caps.
